The Health Services Career Cluster includes occupations ranging from nursing, dentistry, and physical therapy to public health and veterinary medicine. Several careers in the field of health services are among the fastest growing in Indiana. From 2000 to 2010, the following occupations are projected to grow: physician assistants, with an increase of 56%; personal and home care aides, with an increase of 55%; medical assistants, with an increase of 53%; surgical technologists, with an increase of 50% and home health aides, also with an increase of 48%.
